BBC cameraman Mark MacEwen, was shocked after finding a huge Komodo dragon, which was chilling in his hotel bathroom in Indonesia.. Mr MacEwen was on the Indonesian island filming for a new nature documentary series, Planet Earth II, before returning home to meet the unwanted guest.
The massive beasts have been known to attack when cornered by people.
The crew eventually coaxed the lizard out with a hunk of rotten meat tied to a stick, despite the dragon’s best efforts to hide under a bed. But it left them a ‘thank you present’ by defecating on the floor as it left.
